The liberating power of attention
Attention is a precious feature of the mind that allows us to perceive and to perceive us. In the ancient psychologists of yoga and Buddhism has been recognized a powerful transformative and liberating. The methodical training of care strengthens it, stabilizes and makes it more penetrative. Calle Ramiro writes.
Firm attention it will be very useful in our daily lives, and by it we connect better with the present moment and have more capacity for observation and perception. The conscious and deliberate attention It thus becomes a reliable ally in all plots of our life; for something "haven of the mind" has been called and has compared to a suit of armor that protects us. Well trained care is filter, custodian and lamp of the mind.
The care applied to one's self is of great value to discover and get to know, but also, it helps to examine the mind, regulate it, shape it and free it from all sorts of negativities. Being more mindful of one's own, one monitors his thoughts, words and deeds; It prevents the operator and is able to select the sound and discard the insane. Attention is required to observe and get to know us. Through the attention drigida to our psychology, enables us to capture our emotional reactions, mental habits, self-deceptions, avoidance behaviors and blind spots that prevent us from seeing ourselves as we are.
Growing attention methodical reports clear compression, correct understanding, clarity and skilful and conscious action. Attention is cleaning the mind of schemes, old patterns, patterns and obscurations, which clarifies the vision. Through careful observation we know, discover what to transform us and we are doing us. The trained care is an ideal medium to free the mind of obfuscation and, therefore, of greed and hatred.
The care with which to work on surveillance and observation of one is the denomninada pure attention, It is limited to the fact that is free of interpretations, fallacious justifications, excuses or self-deceptions. Prevents the end of the autorecriminacion and the autojustificacion. So one little will be exposing, although this exposure may be sometimes painful, but always constructive and invites to inner development.
To train methodically and gradually the attention there to practice, on the one hand, the meditation and, on the other hand, be more attentive to the activities that one to carry out. Attention is like a two-headed arrow. You can point out and keep an eye on the outside or pointing inward and capture everything that happens within us. Attention confers on all greater relief and specific weight. It is like a diamond in the rough thing to go polishing with patience, but its fruits its very numerous and valuable. It is worth attention become a beacon to walk along the winding path of life and to carry out the trip towards the inside.
