December 24, 2017 to 04 January 2018 We will visit important monuments, ancient temples, ashrams and sacred places of pilgrimage, we will lose in the streets and markets to soak us everyday, we will learn customs and traditions, we will practice Yoga and meditation in beautiful places and will prove the benefits of Ayurveda (the traditional medicine of the India).

In addition, we will be in contact with nature and wildlife, know the world of spices, we will relax on tropical beaches, us enamoraremos of sympathy and the friendly character of the people of the South of India and of course there will be free time for each person as living and enjoy at your own pace and in their own way.

The route

A path of 15 days that will begin in Tamil Nadu, the land of the Tamils and birthplace of the dravida culture. From Chennaiits capital, we will move to the small coastal town of Mahabalipuramfamous for its temples carved into the rock.

Follow the path towards Tiruvannamalai, the Holy City of the mount Arunachala, to visit the Ashram of Ramana Maharsi and the impressive Annamalaiyar Templebuilt in the 9th century.

We will pass the Christmas in Maduraiwhich houses one of the most stunning temples, in terms of art, devotion and architecture is concerned, of the all India: Meenakshi Amman Temple, and through the Natural Park of Periyarwith a beautiful flora and fauna formed by all sorts of trees and tropical plants, elephants or Bengal Tigers, we will give a jump to one of the most exotic States of the India: Kerala, the land of the gods, home of the Ayurveda (the medicine traditional of the India) and the backwaters (water channels).

Fort Kochi, which for centuries was the center of trade of spices, will show us his colonial legacy Portuguese and Dutch present in its streets, churches, buildings and in the fusion of its population. There will discover ancient classical dance as Kathakali and get to know part of the past and the history of this place in the Mattancherry Palace from the 16th century.

We will welcome the new year in Allepey, the Venice of the East, from a houseboat that we sail by the backwaters, an extensive network of canals that are at the heart of this beautiful region.

On the way to Kovalam, we will make a stop at the imposing cliffs of Varkala not to mention that during 3 days you can enjoy the tropical and summery climate facing the Malabar coast, washed by the Arabian Sea, in some of the most beautiful beaches of Kerala.
